The sanitary DIO-SEAL isolator utilizes vulcanization-bonded methodology to form and bond the Sensor Ring to the stainless steel isolator body. A food grade Sensor Fluid fills the instrument's internal volune and the annular volume between isolator body and Sensor Ring. This isolator design totally eliminates Sensor Fluid leak paths, allowing trouble-free measurement of both pressure and vacuum in process lines containing critical fluids, food products, and hard-to-handle slurries.
The isolate ID mates to the ID of Tube OD piping systems.

The sanitary isolator is designed to mate with the Tri-Clamp pipe sections. Flange gaskets are not used, since the Sensor Ring contains integrally molded Tri-Clamp gaskets. Use appropriate sanitary clamps to secure isolator in pipeline, applying normal tightening torque to assure a leak-free installation. This integral gasket design facilitates factory calibration and ensures accuracy in field installation.
The annular volume between isolator body and Sensor Ring and the instrument's internal volume are filled with a food grade Sensor Flouid, providing the hydraulic link required to transfer the process pressure signal to the instrument. The Sensor Fluid must be compatible with the Sensor Ring material and the process fluid.
Working pressure is normally the Tri-Clamp pressure rating at the process operating temperature. The isolator can be operated up to the maximum allowable temperature rating of the Sensor Ring material. For verification of allowable temperature ratings, consult Factory.
